Located at the other end of the beach; the Lufra is a great option if youre not keen on venturing too far from the cottage but cant be bothered cooking. Classic bistro and pub meals served with an amazing view overlooking Tessalated Pavement. Bar snacks served Happy Hour on Friday & Saturday from 5.00-6.00 or on a Sunday afternoon be entertained with live music. In the warmer months the music is outside on the Patio with a light feed cooked on the BBQ. They are all also a licensed bottleshop.

Doolishus

Just down the road from the cottage parked up in the blowhole carpark you will find Doolishus food truck. Selling fish and chips, ice cream as well as takeaway coffees and a variety of other sweets and treats it’s a great place to go for lunch as you explore the area.

Murdunna Roadhouse

If you’re looking for any supplies; Murdunna is your closest bet, selling a variety of basic grocery items to restock for your own cooking at the cottage. They also have a huge selection of hot and cold takeaway food, make a surprisingly good coffee and are the closest petrol station.

Cubed
Travel time from Cottage: 7 Minutes

Cubed is a solar powered espresso bar, perched on top of the hill at the Pirates Bay lookout. A really beautiful spot with delicious coffee and sweet treats.

Dunalley Fish and Chip
Travel time from Cottage: 20 Minutes
Open Whenever the owners wants - fairly often in summer
Widely known as one of the best Fish and Chip joints in Tasmania, this is a must do. Sit down by the waters edge and enjoy traditional, authentic and fresh fish and chips. Make sure to bring cash as they are quite old school, with no eftpos.

Bangor Vineyard

There are two IGA (independant grocers) in Nubeena area. If youre looking for something a little more specific than what you may find at the Murdunna Roadhouse this is your best bet.
